Ego

If you haven’t been ego tripping these days, are you really going through it? I’ve been having ego checks like never before. And let’s be honest, I rarely need an external criticism. My brain works overtime there, I’m not worried. I’m capable of picking my brain to smallest details just to find an answer to why I said something.

I feel like I’m experiencing an identity crisis all over again. And also existential crisis. Like my being is getting ripped in two. One that I’m not and the one I need to leave behind and the other one – the one I’m becoming. I don’t know if it’s a Scorpio thing but the transformation is palpable . I know that I a lot of people are feeling this separation right now, but they can’t pin it. As humans we are quick to relate to our physical state but mostly it’s the energetical issue.

People don’t understand one basic thing about humans. It’s that we are energetical beings first, then emotional and only then we are physical. One doesn’t go without the other. It just can’t. And people do not want to separate themselves from their desires and urges. They let their urges and desires rule over them like it’s some kind of external force. In all honesty, it’s sad to witness what the humanity has come down to.

A lot of people also operate directly from their ego and it’s a cause of so much misfortune for everyone. For example, people are afraid of new beginnings, and they would rather stay in one place forever than to start over and potentially be happier somewhere else. Unfortunately, most of them will never understand that being happy is much more important than being a manager, CEO or whatever. And just because you spent years in some place, it doesn’t mean that you should stay forever. Every situation we are in, is teaching us something valuable.

And if you cannot find good to hold on to, you can at least know what you don’t want to and how not to treat other people.
