As it should be

Do you ever think about how everything should be different? I think we got everything wrong. We took the path we never should have as species. I feel like we are deliberately trying to numb ourselves and turn our head the other way just to avoid feeling guilty for ruining the planet and everything that was given to us.

It’s beyond me that people exist and breathe the same air as we do without any conscience about nature and nurture. Without having empathy for all the living beings and without appreciating everything that was given to us by Earth, by Mother Nature. Everything is monetized and we just pay to exist on the planet we were born into without our conscious choice. Humans came up with borders, passports, visas, money, corporate world, jobs, modern slavery, standards imposed on everyone by a few ruling people. Everyone chases the bag and no one lives anymore. I can see how clear the path in front of me is; country living with my own garden and library. The more time passes, the more I envy the people who let go of everything and just moved to the country away from big cities, to live in peace.

We drifted further away from being human, from being a part of the planet. We put ourselves on the pedestal because of greed. When I say “we” I mean humans as species, an empathic, conscious human being doesn’t kill and destroy. Evil people do; greedy and low humans do. That’s why we have art to show us what is right and what is wrong. Now, we have billionaires so rich they could end the poverty, but instead they use their money for nonsense that only does more harm than good. There is so much suffering in this world, but our dose of Novocaine is just a scroll away. I always feel everything so deeply that even fiction makes me emotional, all three plots of Avatar made me so emotional because even in fiction humans are hurting animals, nature and the entire ecosystem. And for what?

One day we won’t be here anymore. The house you have, the car you have and all the items that you own won’t be yours anymore. Someone else will live in your house and they won’t even know who you are. Items would be sold or passed down, and nobody will remember that it was yours. But what they will remember is how kind you were, how generous and empathic you were. Or how rude and evil you were. It all depends on us. I deeply believe that evil people let their pain turn them into horrible creatures. I don’t know a single person in power that is beautiful. Truly shining and beautiful. You can’t buy the soul; it’s the most expensive thing and there is no currency that can purchase it. You have to nurture it, you must take care of it, you work on the pain to get rid of everything that hurts, you don’t let the pain infect you and turn you into an evil, ugly creature. Evil people are ugly and I don’t mean that in a physical sense, their energy is ugly, the way they behave is so ugly. Just look around you. If there is no light in their eyes, you know what’s up.

So, instead of dreaming of Utopia, maybe we can make one inside ourselves first? Remember, the world is our mirror, who we are as a collective.
