I noticed how my posts are blending with each other and it’s as if I’m peeling off many layers of conditioning. I think it’s one of the most liberating feelings when you recognize that you are shedding so much of conditioning.
I often wonder why people settle. What in us is making us accept the things and settle for whatever is given? When do people lose their drive, their dreams and goals and just accept the circumstances? Is it something related to struggle or lack of motivation?
All of us come to this planet to do different things, we come with certain goals and visions, and it’s like our navigation system. It drives us to that point of living our life under our terms. But what happens in between? My theory is that life throws situations at us and we find ourselves struggling, fighting, and we have to find our way out of it, but many people just accept it and settle with whatever is given to them at that point. For example, a member of the family is struggling with health, and everyone can support them and be there for them and motivate them but if that person doesn’t want to fight, then everything is in vain.
I think this is how some people chose their partners as well. I’m not saying that if you really love someone you settle, I mean that some people who are not necessarily so in love or right for each other, they say “oh okay, I’m just comfortable, so I will settle now”. This can apply to each and every situation, not only in relationships. Maybe it’s just me who has her soul on fire and who refuses to just settle and accept my struggles as limits instead of portals to my goals and visions.
We should never ever, let any situation stop us in our tracks, cause setbacks could be a resting time, working on ourselves, or better; becoming the person we are meant to be in order to achieve our visions. Sometimes life can be confusing, sometimes it’s very, very hard, sometimes it’s devastating, sometimes there is no light at the end of the tunnel, you are walking in pitch black darkness, but your navigation system doesn’t lie. Life was never meant to be just light and colourful meadows; it’s meant to break you and build you up again. It’s you standing in your power that has all the right cards. We cannot influence what happens to us, we cannot always predict it, but how we react to struggles it’s what counts.
